Minolta AF-DL dual lens 35mm camera w/ manual (serial 37211568)

Note: This camera only works with four AAA alkaline batteries. It originally had a 'convertible' battery chamber to alternatively accept a CR-P2 lithium pack but the original owner damaged this part. This doesn't affect most users (AAA batteries are less expensive and easier to find) but we're discounting the camera to account for this minor flaw. 

The Minolta Minolta AF-DL (also called the Freedom Dual or Freedom DL) is a very interesting and well-designed 35mm point-and-shoot camera. It gives you the choice between a fast 35mm f3.5 wide angle and 50mm f5.6 "normal" lens. 

Battery information

This camera requires four alkaline AAA batteries (not included).

Battery performance: Alkaline AAA cells: 20 rolls (Based on Minolta's standard test method, using 24-exposure film with flash on 50% of exposures). 

Condition notes

The camera was tested with a battery and film installed. All features are working correctly (except, as mentioned above, the missing alternative battery contacts for CR-P2 lithium batteries). We verified the film plane focus accuracy with an autocollimator and its auto-exposure accuracy using a calibrated light source. The camera is in good cosmetic condition with some wear from use (see photos).
