It's very easy to use and takes superb photos. Its fast and sharp 38mm f2.8 lens makes it an excellent camera for street\/party photography (for example, much of Ricky Powell's classic NYC street photography was shot using a Hi Matic AF2). \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt has focus\/flash icons and a subtle beeping warning to prevent you taking out-of-focus or unexposed pictures. The camera is powered by two ordinary AA batteries. The manual gives the following: \"Number of flashes per set of batteries: Up to 250 with alkaline cells; up to 100 with Ni-Cd cells; up to 60 with sealed carbon-zinc cells\".
